 Why are the tabs on my ribbon bar too narrow and why is some text on the ribbon not visible?  Why can't I see the sign in link in the upper right corner?

Answer

This is a known bug in Internet Explorer 8.  (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2062185)

Change the zoom level on your browser to 100%.​
